Lodges Camping Hotel Restaurants

Palmwag Lodge is located on the Uniab River in north-west Namibia. It is set in an amazing landscape with towering palms dancing in the breeze.

Accommodation at the lodge includes double rooms and safari tents. The double rooms have twin beds with mosquito nets, en-suite bathrooms with a shower and a seating area furnished with whicker chairs. Safari tents are equipped with twin or double beds with fitted mosquito nets, en-suite bathrooms with shower, bedside tables with lamps, luggage racks, cupboards, private verandah with directoresque chairs and tables.

The area around the lodge is filled with large populations of wildlife such as Hartmann's mountain zebra, giraffe, oryx, springbok and kudu. The predator population in this area is the largest outside the Etosha National Park, with over 100 lions, cheetah, leopard, brown and spotted hyena. There are also desert elephants and black rhino which are under management of the Save the Rhino Trust.

Activities that can be enjoyed in the area include excursions to Damaraland to view the wildlife, excursions to visit the Ovahimba and guided walks with trained and experienced guides.
