The White House was built in the early 1900s, between 1912-1915. This beautiful house is situated on a 15,000ha farm in the far south of Namibia, 11km north of Grünau on the B1, the main road to Windhoek. We are 125km from Ai-Ais Hot-Springs and 115Km from the Fish River Canyons. The White House is often used as a base to make a day-trip to these two places.
The White house guest farm boast 'cold beer, home cooked meals and the best lamb in the world'. In the main building, guest will find a well stocked fridge in the kitchen with cold beer, wine and soft drinks. Accommodation in the main building at the guest house includes 4 family rooms, a small room, generally used for students. The main building is also fully equipped with modern amenities and each room has its own private bathroom.
Chalets at the guest farm have a well stocked fridge with beer, wine and soft drinks and there is also a kettle with coffee and tea available for guests. The guest farm can accommodate up to 28 people. Guests are more than welcome to self cater, however the guest farm does offer divine home-cooked meals for those guests that don't wish to put themselves out.
